The Attack Wood Gasifying Boiler range offers an economic and eco-friendly method for producing heat from split logs. Designed to cater for heating and domestic hot water, they can be used in anything from residential properties to commercial units.
Available in three model types, DP Profi (the standard model), DPX Profi (with external cleaning handle and improved tubular heat exchanger) and DPX Lambda. Models are available in a range of outputs, from 25kW to 95 kW (25kW to 45kW for DPX Profi and DPX Lambda). The ‘top of the range’ DPX Lambda has the ability to monitor the combustion gases and adjust conditions for optimum performance.

Attack Biomass UK offer a range of efficient ways to adopt Biomass boilers, we aim to educate and broaden the possibilities to adopting a low carbon, cost effective and renewable fuel.
The DP Boiler Range
The DP range of Split Log Burning Boilers utilise what is known as the gasification process. This works by extracting carbon monoxide and hydrogen from the fuel source, with a controlled amount of air input(hydrogen and oxygen) the boiler creates a mixture known as Syngas. With conventional wood burning boilers, this gas normally disappears up through the flue unused. The DP range utilises the gas to burn the fuel in a two part process. Firstly the Syngas is burned to heat water (typically in a downward force towards the base of the boiler in the lower chamber), after the Syngas is exhausted from the raw material the boiler then enters its second phase when it will start burning the raw materials from the upper chamber. All of the energy gets transferred to a suitably sized accumulation tank in most cases, granting greater comfort and convenience as your household calls for hot water as and when it is required.
The DP range also includes the DPX with improved heat exchanger increasing the efficiency to 88%, with the DPX Lambda the efficiency rises to 91%. The Lambda sensor provides feedback to the boilers control unit allowing the boiler to automatically alter the combustion environment to achieve the highest possible efficiency, and maximise the gain from the fuel.
