This boiler can be fired with:

- Wood blocks (length 0.3m - 0.5m)

- Wood chips, saw dust, shavings etc.

- Peat Briquettes.

Special stainless steel versions available for high acid wood.

By their nature, log fired boilers have a more variable output than fossil fired units. They are therefore normally used with a water accumulator which is a storage and smoothing tank containing the heat exchange coils.

Accumulators are often used with wood fired boilers to smooth out the heat demand and increase the life expectancy of the boiler.
