Betteshanger Colliery

Supplied as part of the Betteshanger Regeneration Project with support from SEEDA, this is an 80Kw wood pellet fired Boiler. Bioenergy Technology supplied the complete system including the packaged boiler system, underground piping and space heating.

Technical Description: Pellets from a below ground bunker are fed from a flat bottomed out-feeder via a transport screw into the combustion chamber of a three pass firetube boiler.
